Brindabella National Park

GROUND BAITING: 3 March - 2 September 2025

Brindabella National Park is located approximately 267 km southwest of Sydney and 30 km west of Canberra. It was established in 1996 and covers an area of approximately 18,454 hectares. It is also part of the Australian Alps National Parks and Reserves and has been registered on the Australian National Heritage List since 2008. A wide range of wildlife call Brindabella National Park home, including yellow-tailed black cockatoos, peregrine falcons, kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, possums, and tiger quolls.

The baiting activities undertaken at Brindabella National Park are managed by the Queanbeyan office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
