Cataract National Park

Cataract National Park is a small but significant national park located in the Illawarra region of New South Wales, not far from the city of Wollongong and about 100 kilometres south of Sydney. Established in 1967, the park covers an area of approximately 151 hectares and is notable for its historical significance as the site of Australia's first large dam, the Cataract Dam.

The baiting activities undertaken at Cataract National Park are managed by the Northern Tablelands office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
