Dangelong Nature Reserve is a protected area located approximately 40 km southwest of Cooma and 20 km north of Nimmitabel. The reserve covers an area of around 2,000 hectares.

The baiting activities undertaken at Dangelong Nature Reserve are managed by the Jindabyne office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
