Gibraltar Range National Park

Gibraltar Range National Park is located in northeastern New South Wales. Situated approximately 79 kilometres northeast of Glen Innes and about 493 kilometres north of Sydney. As part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area, it holds immense ecological value. The park provides habitat for over 140 bird species, making it an Important Bird Area. Notable birds include the vulnerable rufous scrub-bird, glossy black cockatoo, and various honeyeaters. Mammals found in the park include the spotted-tailed quoll, koala, greater glider, and various possums and bats. The endangered giant barred frog and several other frog and reptile species also inhabit the park's diverse environments.
The baiting activities undertaken at Gibraltar Range National Park are managed by the Northern Tablelands office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
