Goonoo State Conservation Area

AERIAL BAITING: 28 April - 3 May 2025

Goonoo State Conservation Area is a significant protected area in the central-western region of New South Wales, covering an area of approximately 54,522 hectares. It was established in December 2005 and, along with the smaller Goonoo National Park and Coolbaggie Nature Reserve, forms part of the extensive Goonoo Forest, the second-largest remaining forest on the western slopes of NSW.  

The baiting activities undertaken at Goonoo State Conservation Area are managed by the Dubbo office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
