Budawang National Park

Budawang National Park is approximately 200 kms southwest of Sydney and 25 kms north of Batemans Bay. Established in 1977, Budawang National Park covers an area of 237 square kms. Part of the Australian Alps National Parks and Reserves, Budawang National Park has been registered on the Australian National Heritage List since 2008. It is home to a diverse array of plant and animal species, including swamp wallabies, greater gliders, potoroos, eastern grey kangaroos, common wombats, honeyeaters, white-throated tree creepers, green catbirds, and lyrebirds.
The baiting activities undertaken at Budawang National Park are managed by the Ulladulla office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
