Budelah Nature Reserve

GROUND BAITING: 3 May - 31 December 2025

Budelah Nature Reserve is a protected area in northwestern NSW, encompassing approximately 4,045 hectares. It is located about 40km northeast of Mungindi and 120km northwest of Moree, near the Queensland border. The reserve features diverse ecosystems, including woodlands supporting various native wildlife, such as swamp wallabies, red and eastern grey kangaroos, barking owls, and glossy black cockatoos.

The baiting activities undertaken at Budelah Nature Reserve are managed by the Queanbeyan office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
