Gumbaynggirr State Conservation Area

AERIAL BAITING: 8 June - 8 December 2025

Gumbaynggirr State Conservation Area is a protected conservation area located in the Mid North Coast region of New South Wales, west of Nambucca Heads. It was established in 2003 and covers approximately 2,561 hectares. A section of the park, formerly known as Little Wonder State Forest, was protected from logging by a year-long blockade in 1992.

The baiting activities undertaken at Gumbaynggirr State Conservation Area are managed by the Coffs Harbour office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
