Mount Hyland State Conservation Area

GROUND BAITING: 8 June - 8 December 2025

Mount Hyland State Conservation Area is located near Mount Hyland Nature Reserve in the New England region of New South Wales. It is located in the Northern Tablelands region, approximately 60kms west of Coffs Harbour and 50kms north-west of Dorrigo. The area supports a rich diversity of wildlife, including several threatened species. Notable animals include the spotted-tail quoll, brush-tailed rock-wallaby, and the powerful owl.

The baiting activities undertaken at Mount Hyland Nature Reserve are managed by the Coffs Harbour office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
