Mungo State Conservation Area

AERIAL BAITING: 26 April - 7 May 2025

Mungo State Conservation Area is a protected area in southwestern New South Wales, adjacent to the renowned Mungo National Park and within the Willandra Lakes Region World Heritage Area. It encompasses lakebeds, dunes and sandplains supporting a diversity of plant and animal life, some of which are rare or threatened in NSW.

The baiting activities undertaken at Mungo State Conservation Area are managed by the Lower Darling area office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
