Werrikimbe National Park

Werrikimbe National Park is a protected area located approximately 486km north of Sydney, 65km northwest of Wauchope, and 90km east of Walcha on the eastern escarpment of the Great Dividing Range. It was gazetted as a national park in 1975 and covers an area of 33,309 hectares. It is also part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia World Heritage Area.
The baiting activities undertaken at Werrikimbe National Park are managed by the Port Macquarie office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
