Yanununbeyan State Conservation Area is a peaceful protected area located 25 kilometres southeast of Queanbeyan and near Captains Flat in NSW. Covering approximately 160 hectares, Yanununbeyan is renowned for its diverse wildlife.

The baiting activities undertaken at Yanununbeyan State Conservation Area are managed by the Queanbeyan office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
