The Cells State Conservation Area

AERIAL BAITING: 8 June - 8 December 2025

The Cells State Conservation Area is a protected area located in the Northern Tablelands region of NSW, near the town of Wingham and west of Port Macquarie. The Cells State Conservation Area is home to a rich diversity of wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, and various bird species such as the lyrebird, kingfishers, and parrots. The area also supports a variety of reptiles and amphibians.

The baiting activities undertaken at The Cells State Conservation Area are managed by the Port Macquarie office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
