Ngambaa Nature Reserve

Ngambaa Nature Reserve is a protected area located near Macksville, approximately 560km north of Sydney. It was officially established in 1999 and covers an area of approximately 10,560 hectares. The reserve is home to various species, including the powerful owl, yellow-bellied gliders, koalas, and giant barred frogs. It is also important habitat for glossy black cockatoos.
The baiting activities undertaken at Ngambaa Nature Reserve are managed by the Coffs Harbour office of the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
